Cara shares the teachings of yoga with clarity, compassion and confidence. Her classes are in the style of Vinyasa Yoga, connecting movement and breath. It is a very physically active form of yoga designed to purify and cleanse the body. She also teaches techniques of pranayama (breath work), relaxation and meditation. Focusing on attention to alignment combined with the mindfulness of Tibetan Buddhism, you are able to bring strength, relaxation, harmony, and peace into your mind, body, and heart. Your yoga practice is a time to explore, learn, cultivate awareness and uncover the nature of your true self.
 
Prenatal Yoga is a class that is designed to help expectant mothers find greater ease in their changing bodies. This gentle practice creates softness both inside and out, thus creating more room for the baby to grow. Prenatal Yoga will support your childbirth experience by creating a newfound trust in your body's wisdom. You will learn to cultivate attention to breath, mindful focus, and total relaxation. We will also focus on strengthening the core muscles for abdominal toning and quicker postpartum recovery.
